Welcome to CLASSR. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. About CLASSR

CLASSR is a software platform designed to help independent tutors and educators manage their professional activities, including student management, scheduling, communication, lesson tracking, and administrative workflows.

CLASSR is not a marketplace and does not intermediate the commercial relationship between tutors and their students. Tutors maintain direct relationships with their students and set their own rates.

2. Eligibility

By using CLASSR, you represent that:

• You are at least 18 years of age;
• You have the legal capacity to enter into contracts;
• You are using the platform for legitimate professional purposes.

3. Account & Access

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• All activities performed under your account are your responsibility.
• CLASSR may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

4. Subscription & Billing

• CLASSR offers a free trial period for new users to explore the platform.
• After the trial, continued access requires an active subscription.
• Subscription fees, billing cycles, and payment terms are clearly displayed at the time of purchase.
• Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers.
• CLASSR does not take any commission on lessons or payments between tutors and students.

5. Trial & Cancellation

• Free trials provide full access to platform features for a limited period.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
• Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, except where required by law.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information;
• Use CLASSR ethically, legally, and responsibly;
• Not use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
• Not attempt to access restricted areas, systems, or third-party data without authorization;
• Respect the privacy and rights of students and other users.

7. Data Ownership

• All content you create or upload (lesson notes, student information, materials) remains your property.
• CLASSR does not claim ownership of your content.
• You grant CLASSR a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the service.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have proper authorization to enter third-party data (e.g., student information).

8. Acceptable Use

You may not use CLASSR to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations;
• Infringe on intellectual property rights;
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content;
• Interfere with the platform's operation or security;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or copy the platform.

9. Availability & Limitations

• CLASSR strives to maintain platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
• Scheduled maintenance, updates, or temporary interruptions may occur.
• CLASSR is not liable for any losses resulting from service unavailability.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CLASSR and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

CLASSR's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Intellectual Property

• The CLASSR brand, software, design, and content are owned by CLASSR.
• Unauthorized copying, modification, or misuse is prohibited.

12. Account Termination

You may close your account at any time. CLASSR reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. The most recent version will always be available on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the jurisdiction specified in our dispute resolution procedures.
